One of the things to look forward to when you upgrade to the next generation iPhone is improved performance due to faster processor, more RAM etc.
Folks at Gadgets DNA have discovered a YouTube video by Mike Hellers who has compared all the four generations of iPhone to show the performance improvements.
Mike Hellers and his friend Chris carried out the following tests on iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 3G and iPhone 2G:-

It was interesting to see the performance improvements that Apple has achieved with the iPhone platform over the last few years.
